The personality and energy of your children and family are what your pictures are all about and as such you will find that sessions are rarely quiet and still. We set up at a location and set everyone free, sometimes I will suggest things for you to do and sometimes I will follow you around and photograph your activities but always we play and have fun while I work to capture the essence of your personalities.
Maternity portraits

Maternity & Newborn Package Session Fee: $325
Commemorate this amazing and special time with a private session just for you. Your child will love looking a pictures of you when they were in your tummy and marvel at the wonder of it. The optimum time to have these portraits made is 30-36 weeks but don’t wait until then to book, the sooner you book the more time we have to get creative and come up with the best ideas for your photographs!
Newborn Portraits

Those first few weeks of your little one’s life is a hazy time made up of diaper changes, feedings, little sleep (or none) and more diaper changes. Yet, two months go by in the blink of an eye and all those newborn things have disappeared. This portrait session lets you capture those beautiful little wrinkly hands and feet and that sleepy, snuggly body so you can revisit them again and again.
Newborn photos work best at your house. I arrive with everything needed for the session, all you need to supply is the baby and any special items you want included in the photos. These low pressure, relaxed sessions can last for an extended time due to the needs of the baby (and mommy), who always come first, so be prepared to spend a few hours chatting, hanging out and photographing. Schedule your session while you are still pregnant enabling time for a consultation before the shoot.
As we know babies come on their own time so the session reservation will be an estimate until the baby comes, then just give me a call to finalize the date. Optimum time to have newborn portraits made is around 7-10 days old.
Birth Photography

Drawing on my background as a documentary photographer, I will quietly and discreetly make images that follow the amazing and beautiful journey that you and your family undertake. This wonderful visual story of your baby’s first moments and the beginning of your life as a family will be with you always.
Birth Sessions are $1400 and include a third trimester consultation, coverage of your birth and important all important firsts moments that happen in the couple hours after birth, high-resolution digital images, a slideshow set to music, $100 credit toward maternity session and $100 credit toward newborn session.

Important Details
A reservation fee of $100 is required to secure your session. This is a nonrefundable fee that is separate from the session fee. However it is applied to your print orders after your session. The session fee is due on the day of your portrait session. Each session typically generates approximately 25-30 final images for you to chose from with the exception of the Birth Session which generally results in more images. Around 3 weeks after each portrait session you will receive a link to a password protected gallery. This gallery will be accessible for viewing and ordering for 14 days, after which it is taken down and archived. Archived photos are still available for purchase however there is a $25 fee to republish it for 7 days.
