Austin is a special place.
I’ve lived in a number of towns, in a number of states and visited many more places around the world and I have yet to find a place that is so uniquely individual (redundant?) as Austin. If I ever had to move, I would pack up my family and my camera and tour all the special places of Austin, taking portraits and documenting our favorite spots, so that we could take this town with us in some small way.
And this is what we did for this family session. After living a few years in Austin this family is headed back home to South Africa. But before leaving, we headed out and visited some of those quintessential Austin places. A poignant session for sure… Austin will miss them so.
