Miscellaneous Monday – Hats! [Austin Child Photographer]

A photo from my archives… an illustration that I did for a book project. And one of my first introductions to the speed with which one must work when your model is 18 months old. Fast and Furious (without the furious.)

So, you may be wondering how I got a stack of hats balanced on a super active 18 month old? Well, this is actually a composite, a combination of different images to make one final image. Some of these hats were stacked in real life and some weren’t. If there is any interest in seeing the before and after I can search them out and post them. Just comment below.

Compositing images is a something I offer through my restoration services. If you have two or more images that you want combined, something in a photo needs to be removed, or a precious photograph has been damaged. I can fix it for you. Contact me with your project ideas and I can tell you if it can be done.

I know its 100 degrees outside and summer feels like it will never end… but guess what? School starts in about 3 weeks. Then you’ve got homework, after-school activities, weekend soccer games, making Halloween costumes, cooking Thanksgiving dinner and …boom… you need to send out your holiday cards.

What photo will you use?

Don’t get stuck trying to throw something together at the last minute! Shoot me an email. Let’s plan your creative, fun portrait session now! And you’ll have a holiday card that people will keep on their refrigerator all year!
