Summer Sunset Love

Sunset silhouette of dad throwing daughter up in the air.

Doesn’t everyone love a silhouette?

When you can just let go of the distraction of  fine details and allow body language and the story of the subjects to shine through.  And the emotion and connection in this image hits my heart with a sledgehammer.

I love how they are looking at each other and how calm their bodies appear, even in this somewhat precarious situation. Their joints and limbs are relaxed and her palms open to him. She knows that even though she is flying through the air, she is safe.

Her dad has her and won’t let her fall.
